I am a PhD Candidate at Tufts University in the Department of Education's Math, Science, Technology, and Engineering (MSTE) Education program. My main academic interest is K-8 engineering education. I work at the Center for Engineering Educational Outreach (CEEO) where I do research with local teachers, work with elementary students, and play with LEGO bricks. I would eventually like to work in curriculum development for educational technologies and preservice teacher education. To view my research page, click here.

Born: New Orleans, LA

Outside Interests: Outside of school, my main interests are cooking and travel. I've been known to plan entire vacations around food. My (not so) secret desire is to run my own party planning company, though I'll stick with the PhD in case that doesn't work out. I also enjoy hiking and camping, and I have devoted a part of each New England summer to conquering the White Mountains. I am a huge sports fan - especially Astros baseball, Steelers football, and National Champion University of Texas football. Hook 'Em!
